Mt. Ledang, a place that full of myth and its own story. I'm very excited coz this was for the first time to hike that mount. From legend and folks story, Mt. Ledang became a place where a beautiful princess used to live at that place guarded by a mysterious old women named Nenek Kebayan. One day, a Sultan (king) of Melaka want that princess to become his Queen and to do so, the Sultan send a person, actually a warrior to proposed to that princess. Haha, when that warrior arrived there, that princess fall in love to him (his name is Hang Tuah) and tell him her feeling. However, due to highest loyalty to Sultan, Hang Tuah dumped her!hahaha... as for revenged, that princess kept request for an impossible things in order to become Sultan's queen. I'm not quit remember what things that had been because I have been told about this story when I was a child. However, the things might be a gold bridge that connects between Mt Ledang with Melaka, 7 plates of mosquito's heart, 7 containers of tears by people who live at Melaka, the blood of his son and more. Actually, its seems like a tragic story and a lot of morals we can learn from that. However, I joined this adventure to feel what Hang Tuah feel actually when he went to meet that princess. No wonder why princess fall in love with him.
